Pennock Landing was owned by a Jupiter family until 2001. The Freeman’s also owned much of the land from Greenwood Cove to the FEC Railroad between Center Street and Indiantown Road. Mr. Freeman sold much of the land east of Pennock Lane to the developers of HUD type homes in the mid-1960.
Although the sale gave the Freeman’s an opportunity to leave their small property, they chose to remain. That property, known today as Pennock Landing, was once considered to be owned by one of Jupiter’s poorest families. They lived in a home with dirt floors, little-to-no plumbing, and no electricity – pretty much the lifestyle of paupers. Pennock Landing was built by E&H Builders in 2000 and 2001.
The Developer, Tom Fink, constructed 46 quality single family homes for sale at an affordable price. Pennock Landing prides itself on quality construction, beautiful landscaping and excellent appearance. Located mid-way between Indiantown Road and Center Street along Pennock Lane. The development is a mixture of young families to retired individuals. Close to A-rated schools, shopping and entertainment.
