If you are looking for an active lifestyle, Tequesta is the place for you. Only a couple of Tequesta neighborhoods are considered in Martin County as most of the town area is located in Palm Beach County, Florida within the Treasure Coast. Its located almost 20 miles north of West Palm Beach with a quick access to all the towns along the coastal route.With several private golf course communities such as North Passage, Turtle Creek and Tequesta Country Club, you are sure to find one to your liking. Relax on the beautiful beaches of Coral Cove Park and Blowing Rocks Preserve or enjoy a short boat ride to one of nature’s most extraordinary sand bars with turquoise-blue ocean waters. Tequesta has a busy schedule of fun-filled family events, from holiday parties to annual carnivals and festivals. Constitution Park offers multiple playgrounds, a skate park, putting green, basketball courts, walking trail with fitness stations, and pavilions available for rent, which are free for Tequesta residents. A new recreation center is currently under construction and nearing completion, which will include a wide range of adult exercise classes and children’s activity programs. The beach and intercoastal is just minutes away in neighboring Jupiter and can be enjoyed year round. Some of the best snorkeling in crystal clear water can be found under Cato’s Bridge. Beach your boat at the Sand Dunes on the south side of the bridge or park at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area and take the nature path down to the water. Don’t forget your mask!
